[li]hair colour/style:Long and dark brown, always hanging freely, often with decorated with braids. She rarely wears silver in her hair, only for special occasions.

[/li][li]height/weight:[/i][/b] She’s about 5’ 9 and weighs around 120 pounds. She is short for an elf.

the personality

[/b] Alannah is an excellent lady in waiting, but that does not mean she is useless with a sword and a bow. No one has ever seen her use the weapons so they assume she‘s merely another lady in waiting that can be taken advantage of. She’s also an excellent actress. You need to be while dealing with nobles on a daily basis. She’s very humble and loves to learn, her head always in a book whenever she has a bit of spare time. She is mostly curious about the other races and would love to meet someone who belongs to them, even though it seems the rest of her race deem themselves superior. Aloud she would never say it, but she believes that all creatures have a proper place in the world and should be treated with respect. Dispite these feelings, she proceeds to act as if she looks down upon the other creatures, even though she would love to meet them. Speak with them. She has a great love for animals, especially horses, which she is excellent at riding. Also, she cannot stand arrogance. Because of this, it’s short of a miracle that still has her job. She’ll often ‘borrow’ the mount of a noble and ride into the through the forest, hoping to catch merely a glance of another race so she may examine them from afar before fully placing an opinion upon them. She’s still very unsure of the world, and curious about what wonders it holds. [/SIZE][/ul]

history so far:Alannah was born in the middle of the forest to humble surroundings. She grew up with her mother and father, living a happy yet simple life until she was about nine years old. Her family was killed and her home burned down. Alannah was lucky to survive, but her attackers, whoever they were, assumed her dead and left her. For about a week, she wandered aimlessly through the forest before she was found by a noble elven woman. She took Alannah in and gave her a job as her daughter’s lady in waiting. Because of this, Alannah knows many nobles, but they do not know her. She is content with this. Because of how good her mistress has been to her, Alannah stays and completes her duties before doing as she wishes long after the sun has gone down. Granted, she isn’t allowed to do some of the things she does, but it doesn’t stop her. Besides, her mistress is much more forgiving than others are. She does not seek revenge from who killed her family, like others would , for she knows she would never be able to recognize them. She has accepted this and looks only to the future now.[/SIZE][/ul]
