I { DESCRIPTION
Location: Our land is located in the north of Magnum Terra where the winters are harsh and the springs are wild and full of color. The Fenrir mountains and surrounding forests and villages are the home and hunting grounds of the vicious werewolves that were born on the mountain and forged anew and strong from the weaknesses of man. The mountain protects the wolves and the forests nourish them. The mountain land of Fenrir belongs to the wolves and all who do not tred on both feet and paws should stay away or reap the punishment for their foolish daring. Listen to the howls of the hunting parties racing through the forest, beware when those howls become louder for the moment they go silent and the forest becomes still it is too late for escape and your fate is sealed.
Conditions: The life of the wolf is a harsh but beautiful one and when that wolf can become a bipedal human being at will their animal prospective changes and the whole world seems to be under their control. But hatred for their wild and seemingly untamable nature has forced the werewolves to live in seclusion and secrecy in the Fenrir mountains. There, in the safety of the mountain’s shadow, they have developed their own little world and rules which are presided over by the wolf pack which claims to be the descendants of the first wolf, the creator of all werewolves. The name of the werewolf creator is held in reverence by all the children of the moon. With the hierarchy of their families and various werewolf stations established over decades of trial and error the Fenrir mountains have become one part of the three mystical kingdoms of Magnum Terra where the beasts and creatures of legend and nightmares live and breathe.
Population: Werewolves and Humans coexist on the mountains and in their shadow. However the rare occasion that beings from the Elvish and Vampire kingdoms find their way onto wolf land without a warrant or reason, those poor beasts might soon find themselves in many awkward situations that will most likely end in blood…
II { LAW AND ORDER
Ruler: The Radulf pack is the strongest in the mountains and dispenses justice and maintains order in a mysterious world of pure animal desires. Many packs seek to be its friend or partake in the power that being a follower of the Werewolf Prince Draven brings them. While many other packs skulk in the shadows plotting revenge or rebellion against the strength of the Radulfs. The royal wolf pack has always been the strongest family of beasts and all rebels who oppose their power have been put down on battlefields of blood.
Government Type: A Monarchy, ruled by the Radulf pack leader Draven. The Radulf family is the royal line and the leaders of other packs visit the Radulf den like high ranking nobles. A pack in need of a firm hand when order is lost should have its leader kneel before the king’s throne to ask for his justice in their disputes and his judgment will be given. Those that ignore the pursuit of peace and law of the Radulf clan will pay dearly for their treason. The pack leaders of the Fenrir mountains who are allies to the Radulfs are often called together to hold councils to offer advice and suggest new laws to their ruler. But the prince’s word is absolute and his will is law, when his loud bark is heard over the assembly all should bow their heads and crouch low in supplication or risk death at the hands of their ruler.
Allies: The rare witch or warlock has became an ally to the werewolf in exchange for a taste of their wild lifestyle or a chance to become one of them. Their magics are often called upon to heal a badly injured wolf who is beyond nature's healing power. Humans too, who farm the land and tend the cattle and other animals that occasionally become the meal of a wolf, are in a twisted way our allies. However the desire to hunt them, toy with their minds and taste their flesh is too great and because of their mistreatment of our way of life they consider us, the freaks of both human and animal nature, their enemies.
Enemies: The humans who feed off the blood of the wolf’s prey are the mountain wolf’s enemies. The vampires, easily recognizable by their sickly sweet scent, who dare stalk the night as they hunt the humans or animals on wolf land should be instantly considered fair game for a hunt and kill. A wolf should always consider a vampire an enemy until the creature has stated otherwise to a wolf that is willing to listen before his eyes see only the blood of wrath. The elves are peaceful creatures but the wolves are wary of them, for their peaceful silence and tranquility contradicts the wild nature of the forest the wolf occupies. When an elf steps into the path of a wolf, the wary pair might walk away from eachother unscathed out of fear of what one or the other might do. However it is far more likely that an elf and a wolf will find themselves at each other throats in a battle of epic proportions and both would probably be dead before their blood which has stained the earth begins to dry...
III { IMPORTANT PEOPLE
Hrodvitnir Ulf: At the beginning of the world he was the first wolf, born amongst the mountain stones of Fenrir which he made into a home for his children. He carved himself a wife out of the stones with his fangs and with a breath she leapt into life and the forest was her new domain alongside Hrodvitnir. As an ancient wolf Hrodvitnir felt himself drawn towards and intrigued by the human beings gathering in the caves of his homeland. He would haunt the shadows just beyond the lights of their camp fires and watch them living and fearing him. The humans soon moved away from the caves for fear of the wolf that would kill the elder huntsman they sent out to hunt it. Once Hrodvitnir thought the humans had finally left his land in fear, he began hunting a deer in the forest. After a day of tracking and racing the deer he realized a human was following his trail aswell. A young and impulsive huntsman was following him and Hrodvitnir knew why. The young boy wanted to be the first and only one to kill a wolf. Well, the great wolf would not give the young hunter the satisfaction of his death so easily. The huntsman and great wolf chased one another for days through the forest until Hrodvitnir turned to face is opponent at last and fight as he was born to do. They fought in a great battle which is retold by werewolves and humans alike but from different perspectives throughout the centuries. The young huntsman was bitten many times by Hrodvitnir but survived and they continued fighting until the young man became like the wolf he was fighting in both manner and appearance. Their epic battle ended when the full moon rose and they both lay under the moon near death but still breathing by the grace of their ancestors. The moonlight gave them back their strength and when the two enemies rose to face one another again they felt no need to battle one another, for the young man was now a wolf as well. Hrodvitnir and the young man lived as friends together in the forests and the children of the great wolf line and his human brother's kin have become the werewolves of today.
